There's a new
man in the hiphop scene. He goes by the name of 'Rifleman'
and rides into town with an original sound and lyrical
style that's not often found in genre of music that
sometimes gets too contrived.
What makes the Rifleman's debut,"Riflemania"(on
WellBell records) work is his fast, frantic, rapping style
in which he fires out lyrics faster than you can say
"wellbell" and his well-structured groovable
beats.
Rifleman hits the target with the smooth-flowing,deep
bass grooves on "Everyday hustle and Baller
status"."Taste Test" and the
slick, dark"Gangland u.s.c."are two of the other
highlights that were produced by the legendary Curtis
Womack,while"Boogie on"is a funky,fresh
flavored single that should be pumping at the nearest
club in the near future.
